This is Dough Mama
About the Shop
Dough Mama started in the small home kitchen of a classically trained pastry chef, Perrie Wilkof, where she baked dozens of pies per week for many of the notable restaurants around Columbus such as Skillet, Flatiron, Mission Coffee, The Crest, The Rossi, Yellow Brick Pizza, as well as selling her goods at the Columbus Flea and Clintonville Farmers Market. The pie biz quickly outgrew her 24” oven and the space which is now Dough Mama went on the market and a Cafe + Bakery was born.
Dough Mama’s menu is strongly influenced and inspired by stick-to-your-bones Americana with a twist, while still being conscientious of health, dietary diversity, well being, and innovation. Our intention is to provide comfort in every bite while still inspiring excitement though flavors which are unique, and even surprising. Everything in each dish, pie, pastry, is entirely made from scratch using high quality ingredients with a focus on local sourcing. We highlight as many local artisans, makers and growers as possible, and change our menu regularly to reflect the produce of the changing seasons. At Dough Mama, we believe that the community we create is just as important as the delicious goods that we make. Our cafe is a No-hate space where all are welcome and when possible we encourage dialogue, community support, and giving back. Visit us anytime at our Clintonville location for breakfast, lunch, a cup of freshly brewed, locally roasted coffee, made-from-scratch pie and other sweet and savory goods, and enjoy great conversation with friends!
